Get to know the photographer

I’m Kendell — a wife, a working mom of two, and the heart behind Relaxed Lens Co.

I’ve always been a creative at heart. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a love for beautiful things, meaningful moments and finding ways to turn an idea into something real. Somewhere along the way, I always knew photography would find me — I just didn’t know when.

Relaxed Lens Co. was born after the arrival of my second child, during a season of life that made me stop and ask myself what I truly wanted. I wanted more than simply going through the motions. I wanted to create something of my own. Something meaningful. Something my children could one day look at and say, “My mom built that.”

And so, Relaxed Lens Co. began.

But I never wanted to create just another photography business. I wanted to create something with purpose — a business built around connection, creativity and giving back. A space where people can slow down, feel comfortable in front of the camera and have their most meaningful seasons beautifully documented.

My photography is relaxed, natural and intentional. I’m drawn to the little things — the fleeting moments, the genuine connection, the imperfect details and the stories that make each person, family or brand unique.

Because photographs are more than beautiful images. They become pieces of your story. They remind you of who you were, who you loved, and how a moment felt long after it has passed.

Relaxed Lens Co. is my creative outlet, my dream and something I’m incredibly proud to be building — one story, one connection and one photograph at a time.

And most importantly, I hope my children grow up knowing that it’s never too late to follow your passion, build something meaningful and create a life that feels like your own.
